We’re excited to introduce our Winter Reads collection, featuring more than 30 fantastic new books for our middle and high school students! This curated selection highlights some of the best books of 2025, including a wide range of fiction of different genres, popular graphic novels, and engaging nonfiction books.

Take a look at our HS Winter Reads and MS Winter Reads collection then check out your favorite ones to read during your winter break.

This fabulous collection was purchased through our  PTSA’s 2025 library budget line, which plays a huge role in helping us fulfill our mission of fostering our students’ love of reading, supporting their learning and classroom projects, and building a more diverse, up-to-date library collection.

We also want to give a big thank-you shoutout to our PTSA for raising our library budget line from $1,000 to $4,000 this school year. Your support makes such a difference for our library and all our students!

  THANK YOU BSF!

Books purchased through BSF grant

We are so proud to be the recipient of Bellevue Schools Foundation’s 2024-2025 Arts, Enrichment & Innovation grant.

This generous BSF $300 grant allowed us to purchase a new set of narrative nonfiction and memoir books for our 6th–12th grade students. This new collection will have a meaningful impact on our students’ learning journey. These books will spark thoughtful discussions, deepen empathy, and broaden our students’ understanding of diverse perspectives and real-life experiences.

Thank you BSF for helping us to bring these important stories into our classrooms and community!

Don't Miss Out: ISPTSA Spring Fundraiser and Social Event!

portrait of Astaire

The library is excited to sponsor an auction item at our ISPTSA spring fundraiser: A timeless art piece of your beloved pet, commissioned by our talented 9th grader artist Kari Koleva.

Don't miss this chance to bid on one-of-a-kind artwork while supporting our PTSA and our library!

Meet our artist Kari Koleva

My name is Kari Koleva, and I am a sophomore at International. I’ve combined my love for animals and art to create sentimental pet portraits. Each custom piece is carefully painted to showcase the unique personality and spirit of your pet, turning your cherished companion into a timeless work of art. Whether as a gift or a personal keepsake, my portraits are a heartfelt way to celebrate the special bond between you and your pet.

The auction item is an 8”x10” painting with a frame. The winner will receive a personalized portrait of their pet or any animal of your choice. You will need to send me a clear photo with good lighting of the animal. The painting will be completed in 2-4 weeks, and you will receive progress photos during the creation of your painting.
