Support Career and Technical Education by Joining an Advisory Committee

The Bellevue School District Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is seeking business professionals to join our CTE Program Advisory Committees. These committees are designed to meet state and federal guidelines for career and technical education programs and ensure that CTE programs are aligned with current industry needs and trends. The committees will meet three times during the school year. 

We have 12 program advisory committees seeking members for the 2024-2025 school year. To understand the scope and content of our programs, please review our CTE programs and classes at BSD CTE Programs and Classes

  • Construction 

  • Culinary/Catering 

  • Engineering 

  • Health Sciences

Attend the Kickoff Meeting 

The first meeting will take place on October 30, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Newport High School. CTE teachers from across the Bellevue School District will partner with industry professionals and provide guidance and advice for district programs. Dinner will be provided for attendees.

Please confirm your interest in a committee and RSVP for the kickoff by October 16, 2024. RSVP by completing the linked survey or contacting Jess Moyer, the Director of CTE Programs for the Bellevue School District at BellevueCTE@bsd405.org.    

Get involved with CTE Programs

If you are unable to attend the kickoff event on October 30, consider other valuable ways to get involved including: 

  • Visiting a middle school or high school classroom as a guest speaker 

  • Offering work locations for a tour or class field trip 

  • Providing job shadowing opportunities 

  • Offering internships or clinical experiences
