The Bite of IS is a multicultural potluck-event that is held annually in the International School Gym. At the Bite, students, family members, and staff all contribute a culturally significant dish which they serve to attendees from their booths. We encourage you to host a booth as an individual, a club, or families coming together to host one booth. We are also looking for cultural performances. Students and their guests have the opportunity to perform an act tied to their ethnic background – dance, song, etc. – and can perform solo or in groups for visitors during the Bite.
This year, proceeds from the Bite of IS will go to Renewal Food Bank, a very local food bank, supporting our local Bellevue families with food assistance and essential hygiene items. Sign Ups for aspiring booths and performers are now open, and participation as well as attendance is strongly encouraged. The Bite is a great opportunity to embrace the diversity we find within our community!
The Bite of IS will take place on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Buy your tickets now! You can purchase tickets in advance only for $12/plate or $15 at the door. Link to purchase below. Tickets will also be available at the door, cash or check only, for a higher price of $15.
