The next middle school activities/sports season is around the corner. This session will be November 18 - January 24. International School will be offering two options for students, with both options taking place Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:00 (with badminton games likely going later).

 

• Board Games and Coloring Club
  • This is offered through Jubilee Reach.
• Badminton
  • Coaches this year will be Scott Rulon (varsity badminton coach at Sammamish and Newport) and Julien Jasserme (new French teacher at IS who played singles and doubles in college). IS high school students will serve as assistants.
  • If signups exceed the capacity, we will follow the district guidance: "Athlete selection is by drawing when interest exceeds maximum number of team participants."
  • Badminton is a school sport instead of being organized by Jubilee Reach. The funding for travel goes through our ASB (Associated Study Body). As a result, all students who participate in badminton MUST have an ASB membership. If your student does not have this already, it may be purchased HERE.
