 Welcome to  2026-2027 School Year

We are so excited to welcome both our new and returning students to the new school year!

To celebrate the start of this school year, the library is welcoming you back with the new  2026 Award Winning Books collections for Middle grades and Young Adults. Stop by, explore these new titles and find a great book to kick off the new school year of reading and discovery!

We have also updated our Library Resource References  to better support our students' learning and research. These resources include helpful guides on how to access  and conduct research using our BSD databases, Destiny ProQuest  as well as the KCLS databases.

The library is here to support your reading, research and learning needs throughout the school year.

We now have Manga in our library!

I’m so excited to share that our new Manga collection is a huge hit! Over the past few weeks, our students have been excitedly checking it out and enjoying these new titles.

Some of the new manga series in our collection were curated based on our students’ suggestions. A huge shout out to our Manga team for your collaboration in selecting these titles.

This new Manga collection was made possible through our PTSA $4,000 library recurring budget line. Thank you, PTSA, for your continued support of our library and our students!
